What I wrote this month: August

If someone told me this time last year I would have a story of mine in The Age, byline and all, I wouldn’t have believed them.

But here I am.  After a solid eight months of job hunting, I’ve managed to score a role with the Australian Associated Press and I have my first newspaper byline.

I keep pinching myself that I get to do something I love everyday – and be paid for it!

If you don’t know much about AAP, we’re a news agency that writes and produces breaking news for most of the country’s main players including The Age, Guardian Australia, the Herald Sun, Daily Mail, news.com.au, Sky News, Nine News and Yahoo7.

I thought I’d share with you all what I’ve worked on since I started back in July as an apology of sorts for not posting since I started in July (and also as I’ve been busting to have a little humble brag).

I promise I’ll try to post a bit more frequently now I’m in a bit more of a routine!
